That being said, I have taken it upon myself to adopt a new lifestyle of grace, maturity, and the wisdom that comes with higher education.
I'm making a change, and, so far, life has been better than I could ever have imagined.
And what better way to inspire others to make the same changes than to post them online for the world to read?
Exactly, there is no better way...
(Except maybe, you know, humanitarianism, or medicine, or many other things that are probably more important than blogging... But that's beside the point.)
In order to begin my journey of inspiration, I will now present to you:
The Top 10 Things I've Done Since Graduating From College
By Sydney Davis Jr. Jr.
1. Eaten whole-wheat Eggo waffles.
Adults always make sure they get their whole grains.
2. Packed my stuffed animals into Space Bags.
Adults know that Tupperware tubs are a thing of the past, and that saving space is a big deal.
3. Eaten a cupcake.
4. Ordered a small frappuccino.
Adults know that you can have what you want, and still save money...
And sometimes they have less money on their Starbucks card than originally anticipated...
5. Gone to bed early.
Because I think we can all agree that 2 a.m. is a reasonable time.
And if you can't agree, you aren't an adult.
6. Eaten Peanut M&M's.
Adults always make sure they get their protein.
7. Read the news.
Yes, Yahoo counts.
8. Wore my glasses.
Because nothing screams "adult" quite like wearing glasses.
9. Waited until I was IN the car before impersonating ridiculous people.
10. Blogged about very adult things.
Because, when you graduate from college, something happens to your brain to make you a grown up. Instantly. Proven fact.
Because nothing says "I'm responsible and mature" like squishing your Build-A-Bears into a flat pancake.
Because whole wheat tastes the same as regular when they're smothered in syrup.
Because that's just How It Is.
