Originally from Bentonville, Arkansas, Sydney relocated to Chicago at the age of 16 to pursue a career in comedy. She began studying at The Second City Training Center, where she later taught & developed courses including stand-up comedy, storytelling, and public speaking from 2017-2022.
Her comedy special "TRASH," is available for streaming on Amazon Prime.

Outside of standup comedy, Sydney is a podcast host, and professional debater.

Her podcast Growing Up Fundie is available on Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music, and YouTube. Videos of her debates have amassed more than 7 million views (and 100,000 shares) across Tiktok, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram as of 2026.

Sydney holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction.
